First Walk 初めてのお散歩
I remember my well-meant friend who was always thinking ways to sell my stone beings cheap and quick. Once she came up with smart captions, it went like this:
"No feeding, No mess and No walk in a park. Free yourself from all the obligations! Only thing you need is to pet her, hold her or cuddle her when you need love. Adopt a stone pet today and get all the comfort from the little piece of Mother Earth!
Well, obviously when she said "no obligations" she was mistaken. Because some of the stone beings would actually send you the messages of their needs so intensely to the point it is no less difficult to ignore them than begging howls of dogs wanting to go for a walk, or a blaming stare by your cat when you bought her the cheap brand of cat food instead of fresh piece of tuna.
Today, "the messenger from the Ancient Canadian forest," the white spotted owl woke me up seven in a morning wishing to go for a walk in a wood. (Gee, I thought she was
nocturnal.) I managed to ignore her till 3 o'clock since my plan of the day was to work on a portrait of the lady who holds up a cute Maltese. Around 4 o'clock, I was unable to paint any longer since White Fakes' (the stone owl's name) request was echoing in my head like some echoes yelled across the huge open valley, except this echo, unlike the normal echoes would never stop! "Let's go for a walk, go for a walk, a walk, a walk, a walk…..!"
So I put my paint brush down, picked up my little stone friend, and here we went for a walk in a wood.
It was her very first time being out-door. And she seemed to be happy with some ordinary trees much younger and skinnier than those of ancient rain forest where real spotted owls lives.
She may never
see the real rainforest since she will soon leave Canada to be
with a lady in Japan who look forward to receiving her as her
birthday gift.
Perhaps knowing her departure pressing close by, it was White
Frakes' wish to be close to her real home, the Ancient Canadian
Rain Forest where trees are the oldest and the wisest of all
trees, air the purest and the sweetest of all lands, and her
disappearing fellow owls living shyly, hidden among them.

Wow! my first comment!
Well, the owl is of course real, since she has a soul, just like you and I. And yes, I made her consciousness come into our world through painting on the stone.
She is very small and precious. Merely a bit bigger than your thumb. Cuty she is.
I am happy to see you visiting my blog! Thank you!!
